Wick Lark is a local workspace for people keeping personal intentions and direction notes. It brings together adjustable 0–359 degree ring with locally saved heading notes. Visitors can tap cardinal or adjust angle, then marker/readout move together, then save and reopen a note. The interface keeps its working actions close to their context, so the next decision is visible. Illustrated ring, no GPS or sensor readings, no minted heading identity.

A Heading Needs a Reason, Not Just a Number
A degree is precise without being meaningful. Forty-two degrees can be an intention, a memory or an arbitrary setting. The note beside the ring is what lets the person who chose it tell the difference later.
The ring is a coordinate for a note, not a measurement of a person. Moving the marker and readout together gives the choice a visible consequence. Saving the associated sentence makes it possible to reopen the context, rather than only the degree. Cardinal shortcuts let a visitor begin broadly before making the setting more precise.
The lark is a marker for a chosen bearing, not a tracking device. Its movement gives the angle an immediate visual form while the sentence supplies the personal context. Neither element needs to become an identity claim for the pair to be useful. A saved plate can simply be something the visitor meant on a particular day. This smaller ambition keeps the ring legible: one setting, one reason, one record that can be opened again.
Saved plates stay in this browser. They are notes you can reopen, not positions being tracked and not identities minted on a chain. The ring has cardinal shortcuts because not every intention needs a decimal. Start with a broad direction, then turn it until it feels specific enough to write about.
